April 2010: As it seems, the long and strange German winter has brought upset the rhythm of many female dogs, so also our Baccara. After an unusually long heat, combined with hormone fluctuations and heat interruptions, we have decided today to stop the mating and we can not be happy with new boxer puppies this summer.

December 2009: Angelina celebrates her 1st birthday. She's really a wonderful, beautiful and teachable dog.

Boxer & Family
On this site we would like to tell you, why we see the German Boxer as the IDEAL family dog and why we never repent the day, we decided for a German Boxer as our family dog and why we consider:
"Once a Boxer - Always a Boxer"
The - not only for us - probably most beautiful and most fascinating thing at the boxer is its unusual and strong child love and its friendly nature towards all family members, friends of the family and visitors.
None of the kids in the neighbourhood, whether older or younger, can pass our garden fence, without saying "hello" to our Baccara. Few have respect, because a boxer is a medium sized dog, however our Boxer bitch is loved by all children they know her. Also always beautiful to see, how our dog doses the temper, play-instinct and power respective to the opposite. Carefully and rather reservedly to small children, joyfully with the large and full Boxerpower at the dog training area.
Also none of the neighbourhood has a problem with our Boxerlady, if they would not see her from time to time, they would not know that there is a Boxer living - a well educated and trained boxer is not a barker. Only if a cat dares to run too close to the fence two or three times she barks - finally: she's is a dog...
This does not mean that a Boxer cannot live with cats. If the dog knows e.g. a cat within the family from the puppy age on and if this also is accordingly arranged for it, then it will accept also a cat as a member of the family-"herd".
By the participation to puppy play hours and visits at the dog training area from the day on, our Boxerbaby came to us, Baccara knows not only different boxers, also other dogs and dog breeds and today she gets along with almost any dog, all the same whether male or female dog.
Regular, expanded walks, cycling and the dog training make sure to become a full capacity and a always balanced dog.
With the short skin, regular to brush, the Boxer also is unproblematic to care.
For nutrition we selected age-appropriate quality fodder in the puppy and growth phase of the dog. Today, with the adult dog, we feed in the morning wet fodder and in the evening quality dry fodder.
